At first the cats of K-853 were wild: much bigger than ordinary cats, with thicker fur, and they very often fought over territory.
One day a cat from Earth came to them. The locals understood that he was one of their kin — but less suited to their climate.
The first cat from Earth could talk. He began teaching the local cats to speak and write, and then to stand on two legs.
Most of the cats became civilised and spread out across different lands. Some didn’t accept the new language and writing and decided to stay on four legs.
The first cat is worshipped by the Kostvo religion.
